daylight savings is the best

we're all smiles over here
Daylight savings is responsible for an increase in heart attacks, decrease in work productivity, and a huge surge of crankiness among everyone. Suffice to say, springing forward is never a good idea ... except this year.

Before this past Sunday, Clay was on a 6:30 pm bedtime routine. Which, I know, was no real cause for complaint. But it did definitely put a damper on dinner - we were eating the early bird special there for a while, nodding to the over-60s beside us - and our already small social life.

So this daylight savings really came to the rescue. Now our baby is going to bed at 7:30, and we're all sleeping in till 7:30! Life is pretty good when you look at it through that lens.

Note From Eleanor: Not buying this argument. Daylight savings is still Ben Franklin's worst idea.
