There’s a lot working against me this Valentine’s. Namely a seven-month-old
baby and a shortage of babysitters. So we’re staying in this year to make the
most of it at home. But that’s actually okay.
I’m not that great at feeling
all the feels, so this brief post will have to suffice. Becoming a parent
has revealed I can love far beyond what I thought possible. Not everything about
being a father has come easily or even naturally, but my love for this little
boy has only continued to grow.
Thus this Valentine’s Day, stuck inside instead of out, I will
reflect on the way things have changed so profoundly in my life and be grateful
for those changes – however inconvenient they may be on February 14th.
I am so blessed to have this family, and I love you, Eleanor and Clay (and Puck
and Plum).

I know it is a little late for Valentines, but K offer free babysitting sometime during the next 3 weeks. I would love to get a baby fix in, and Beth can vouch for me - just ask her, I mean it and she will give you my number. :o). Beccy
ReplyDeleteHi Beccy, I just saw your comment; thank you for the babysitting offer! If we go out in the near future we will definitely let you know!
